MINIMUM GRADUATION Requirements

22 credits required for graduation of which three are in Naval Science. Students have options between requirements: 24 Honors, 9 Advanced Placement, and 2 Dual Enrollment courses. All students must complete 80 hours of community service and pass their Qualified Boat Handler’s License (QBH) test.

NAVAL SCIENCE

As an Honor Naval School, the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) Program is an (NJROTC PROGRAM) integral part of the college preparatory mission, providing the structure for a focused academic atmosphere where students learn self-discipline and are challenged. Students can earn leadership positions based on seniority, performance, and qualifications. The school can nominate up to six cadets to the Naval Academy, five to the Air Force Academy, and three to West Point Military Academy each year. Naval Science classes consist of history, nautical science, physical fitness, military drill, seminars in leadership, and sailing.

  • NJROTC:  Corps of Cadets have earned the NJROTC Distinguished Unit Award seven years in a row.
