Congratulations to our Boy's Varsity Team who earned District Champions and the Girl's Varsity Team who earned 3rd Place Overall!
The new track had a very successful opening day as we hosted a home meet for the first time in decades. It was a great way to show off the new centerpiece of our campus.

McGee aspires to be in the Olympics someday, but her dreams don't start and end on the track. She plans on being a doctor, and is pursuing an Ivy League education to become one.
Women's team earned 5th overall and Men's team earned 2nd overall. Congratulations to our athletes who persevered through wind and rain!

It was a great day for AFA softball yesterday opening the season with a "HUGE" district win over St. Pete Catholic 7-3. Corynn Miner lead the way with 13 strikeouts and 2 for 3 at the plate. Jhonnelle Young was a force offensively with 2 hits!
Please join us next Tue, Feb 18 at 3:45 PM for a special event with the elementary "Little Jackets" after school program to recognize them for their hard work and success. Following the event is the first home game of the Varsity Softball season!
Students and student-athletes spent the afternoon with the kids from the Nina Harris Center for Exceptional Kids to provide a super bowl like experience for them.
The BlueJacket Athletics Club (BJAC) held it's monthly meeting and dispersed addition funds to support out student-athletes.
This is a special invitation from the Bulls to their top junior recruits (Class of 2015). Dalton Collins (QB/LB), Jestin Green (WR/DB), and Aaron Rodriguez (OL/DL) were specially invited to attend.
She also earned a new indoor personal record mark of 18'2". Congratulations Brittany!
Three Farragut wrestlers take 2nd place at the tournament.
Over Winter Break, our boy's basketball team participated in the Suncoast Holiday Tournament held at Kewsick. Congratulations to our athletes who finished tournament runner-up and to DJ Johnson and Micheal Obindu who received all tournament honors.
During a short time of existence, the BJAC has sponsored school-wide events on campus, purchased team equipment, and has had a supportive presence at every home game. Read on for highlights of items the BJAC has helped with so far!
Athletes are chosen from throughout the state of Florida.
Farragut senior, Sean Young has been selected as one of 90 seniors from across the country to play in the 2014 Blue-Grey All American Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
Delroy signed ahead of most high school seniors because he will be an early enrollee on the Bloomington, Ind., campus. He'll begin the spring semester Jan. 8 and will be allowed to work out with the Hoosiers football team this spring, potential giving him a leg up on the other incoming freshmen. Delroy plans to study biology and psychology.
