"Patrick McNamara's footsteps keep getting faster, pounding like a drumbeat on cross country courses."
When Farragut hosts Clearwater Central Catholic this Friday, it will mark the third time this season the BlueJackets have faced a school ranked in the top five of its respective class in the most recent Associated Press Florida high school poll. This is their second to last game (which are both home games). The season ends on Nov. 7, which will be a special Military Appreciation event at Farragut.

On Saturday, Sept 7, 2014 AFA Wrestling and new head coach, Ron Timpanaro, hosted a clinic for high school and youth wrestlers from around Pinellas County to have the opportunity to train with Olympic Wrestler Jared Frayer. This event was also the kick-off to the beginning of our new Anchor Wrestling Club Program for 1st-8th grade students interested in wrestling.
Kyle will be part of an all-star team of junior golfers from our area that will be competing in the Southeast Regional for a chance to contend in the PGA Junior League Golf Championship.

The athletic department is pleased to announce the hiring of a new head wrestling coach, Ron Timpanaro, and new boys head basketball coach, Hernan Roldan.
Brittany came 1st place in the Long Jump, setting another new school record! The Golden South Classic is an international, elite track and field meet for high school students. The event has been named one of three meets in the prestigious adidasĀ® Golden Stripes series.
The Womens team had a fantastic meet, placing 4th overall, the highest any womens team has placed in AFA and Brittany McGee '15 won 1st Place in three events, first female at AFA as well. Our Mens team performed admirably as well and our Mens 4x100 Meter Relay team placed 5th overall.

Head Football Coach Ryan Hearn enters his first spring season at the helm after a successful fall debut in which the team finished 6-4. The BlueJackets return this spring bigger and stronger and hoping to build on the foundation paved in the fall.
The annual Sports Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 15th.
Claudia Pizzarelli and Allie Kowalczyk signed to play softball at the university level.
Congratulations to our Boy's Varsity Team who earned District Champions and the Girl's Varsity Team who earned 3rd Place Overall!
The new track had a very successful opening day as we hosted a home meet for the first time in decades. It was a great way to show off the new centerpiece of our campus.

"We obviously have a pitcher," Derk said. "But there's a team here, too. And they're starting to gain a lot of confidence with each win."
McGee aspires to be in the Olympics someday, but her dreams don't start and end on the track. She plans on being a doctor, and is pursuing an Ivy League education to become one.
Women's team earned 5th overall and Men's team earned 2nd overall. Congratulations to our athletes who persevered through wind and rain!
