Middle School

Our Middle School curriculum lays the groundwork for students to be able to digest, retain and expand upon the rigorous college prep curriculum they will master in the High School. Learn about our Middle School curriculum. 

Boys and girls may become 5- or 7-day boarding students beginning in grade 8.

Some of the places they visited were Fort Pulaski, Fort Jackson, Mighty 8th Air force Museum, Railroad Museum, Savannah Theater, Oldest Baptist Church and Underground Railroad Stop, and they enjoyed a Ghost Tour around the city, shopping on River Street, and a cruise down the Savannah River!
The new exhibit "The American Soldier" is a dramatic exhibition of photographs that captures the essence of American soldiering over more than 150 years, ever since the birth of photography when the camera became a notebook to history, starting with the Civil War. As photography improved so did the record of "The American Soldier."
For speech competition, student answers the question, "Should celebrities be role models?"
Scripps is the nation's largest and longest-running educational promotion, administered on a not-for-profit basis by The E.W. Scripps Company and local spelling bee sponsors in the United States, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Department of Defense Schools in Europe; also, the Bahamas, Canada, China, Ghana, Jamaica, Japan and South Korea.
