Athletics - Go BlueJackets!

At Farragut we believe in producing well-rounded individuals. Students who are involved in athletics learn to manage their time, continue to stay active, and also create bonds far beyond the classroom. Our BlueJackets like to win, but more than that, they just love to compete. Our coaches, players and parent spectators all place great value in good sportsmanship. Win or lose, we will do it with dignity and honor.

* We are so proud of the 7 members of the Class of 2014 who signed to play collegiate athletics in football and softball at colleges and universities such as Indiana University, Florida International University, Seminole State College, Clark University, Ave Marie University, and Fairmont State.

This week, the Farragut baseball and softball teams will try to cap their successful seasons with equally impressive runs in the postseason. The baseball team already has secured its best season in over a decade while the softball team has continued its recent dominance.
To make up for the lack of a Senior Night for Boys and Girls Soccer at Farragut, Boys Soccer captain Mikey Tauber created an event at the end of school on March 25 that pitted the faculty and girls soccer team members versus the boys soccer team.
The Farragut lacrosse team wrapped up its 2015 season with a victory over Sarasota Military Academy. Other highlights of the year included the addition of the program's first female player, Veronica Levine. In addition, the team had an international feel to it with players hailing from the Bahamas, Canada, China, Panama, Switzerland, and the Ukraine. While other players came from states like Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
The Farragut baseball team is on pace to win more games this season than the past five years combined, under the guidance of first-year coach Tom Beck.
This past Saturday, Enmon (pictured) and McGee, despite starting their journeys for different reasons and at different periods in their life, cemented themselves in history on the same day, becoming the first Admiral Farragut Academy wrestlers to win state titles.
