How we approach Fitness & Wellness
Farragut has many new facilities and training methods with which we offer a wide range of health and fitness challenges: weight room, Core Flex Training Zone, outdoor core training and flexibility workout area including “The Power Station" stretching apparatus, an obstacle course with 15 stations including push-up, chin-up and leg raise station, balance beams, 2 rope climbs, weight sled, tire runs and lifts, trampoline jumps, fitness wall and more.
We also offer yoga classes, core training, aerobics, mixed martial arts, and stretching stick classes.
Students, faculty and staff can schedule one-on-one training and consultations with our Wellness Director, Pete Chapman, or they can join during the group hours below.

Who is Pete Chapman?
Pete is a great athletic influence to our young athletes. He is a former national champion athlete, certified fitness trainer, equipment designer, and published life coach and speaker. He shares with us a personalized wellness program developed for our students, faculty, and staff which includes physical fitness, nutrition, stress management, and gaining personal confidence. The new fitness facilities at the Huntley Field House are utilized to hold fitness classes, weight lifting, resistance training, and includes a new Core Flex Fitness Zone which is an outdoor fitness circuit and challenge obstacle course. We care about the well-being of our Farragut family and the Wellness Program’s goal is to create a whole new culture of health and vitality within our community. These new facilities and services will improve our health, attitudes, and daily living.
