The same is true of us. At Admiral Farragut Academy, only our "covers" are the same. Beyond our uniforms, we are as diverse as can be.
School Uniforms
Salt & Peppers - Monday
Black pants with black belt and white collared shirt with black garrison cap.
Navy Service - Tuesday through Thursday
Black pants with black belt and new khakis shirt with black garrison cap. We grandfathered in last years khaki shirt for girls if it is tucked in and worn with a belt.
Travel Gear - Friday
Khaki shorts or black pants with blue AFA polo shirt and closed-toe shoes.
* Uniform is subject to be worn on different days due to a number of circumstances like field trips, no school or half days, etc.
*Garrison caps are worn only when cadets are outside.
*Ribbons and awards are worn on the Salt & Pepper and Whites uniform only.
PE & PT Gear
AFA gold t-shirt (tucked-in), blue regulation athletic shorts (pulled-up to the natural waist), white socks (short or high), and athletic shoes. long navy blue athletic shorts and yellow athletic shirt (tucked in).

Athletic Uniforms
Athletic Team Uniforms are pictured above and are provided* by the Athletic Department. (Left to Right: Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Track & Field, Football, Wrestling, Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Golf, Basketball, Lacrosse uniform is missing)
*Athletes may need to purchase other required items such as hats, shoes, socks, etc.
Boarding Student Uniforms
Boarding students wear PE Gear during the weekends and evenings when on campus. However, when students leave campus to go on liberty or leave, they are required to wear civilian clothing. They should not have "Farragut" attire on.
How-to Purchase Uniforms
All uniforms must be purchased from Admiral Farragut Academy.
Ship's Store
New uniform store located on campus in the Farragut Hall building facing the East Grinder between the High School Office and Art Classroom. Schedule an appointment at the Ship's Store for your uniform fitting and purchase before the first day of school. Please allow up to 2 hours time for the full fitting and preparation for any alterations necessary.
Lucky Bag
Used uniform store ran by the Parents' Group and located on the lower level of the Ship's Store. You can find most uniform items.
