Opportunities To Give
2009- 2010 Annual Fund Support
There are two broad needs to this year's focus of the Alumni Association giving to the Annual Fund Campaign:
- First,
to begin to secure the funding for the complete development and
implementation of a school-wide emphasis in Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics (called S.T.E.M.), and
- Secondly, to initiate building of the endowment through giving to the Foundation.
This
is a transitional year, and by making a commitment to the Annual Fund
this year, each gift will serve dual functions with 50% going towards
building the S.T.E.M. initiative, and 50% going toward the Admiral
Farragut Academy Foundation. Each year over the next four years, this
percentage will shift in the split between Annual Fund support and
building the Foundation (endowment) as follows:
- 2008/09: 75% Annual Fund-25% Foundation
- 2009/10: 50% Annual Fund - 50% Foundation
- 2010/2011: 25% Annual Fund - 75% Foundation
- 2011/2012: 100% to the Foundation
Please consider your support of the Annual Fund today. The education of Farragut students cannot be put on hold. Supporting
the Annual Fund and Foundation is one of the best ways that you can
help to ensure every student's success this year and in the future.
