Financial Assistance
Admiral Farragut Academy is committed to attracting a diverse and talented student body. The mission of our financial aid program is to make it possible for deserving students whose families do not have the financial resources to fully meet the cost of an AFA education to attend. We believe the primary responsibility for financing a child's education rests with the family and as such we look to them first to finance educational expenses to the extent their resources will allow.
To assist families in managing expenses we offer options such as monthly payment plans and loans, but often, payment plans and loans alone will not be sufficient to enable their child to attend AFA. In these cases families can apply for additional need-based assistance. However, as a result of our limited budget, each year we have more families who qualify for assistance than we are able to fund.
Students must complete the admissions process and be accepted before financial assistance will be determined.
