Leadership Academy

Leadership Academy graduation will be held at 0900, Saturday 23 and 30 June for Sessions 2 through 3 respectively. Graduation is normally held on the Football Field (Chapel in the event of inclement weather). Parents, guardians, and/or other relatives are welcome to attend. The cadets are normally allowed to leave shortly after graduation. Directions and lodging information is available at the following link:

The weather is usually very hot and humid this time of the year. Please dress accordingly.

Engineering STEM Summer Camp at Admiral Farragut Academy

Curriculum provided by Project Lead The Way, which is what we use now in the Introduction to Engineering Design class. Contact Amy Stabile in the Middle School office @ 727-384-5505. The cost will be $175 and that will include lunch.  The camp will be from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Boy's Basketball Camp

Grades 6th - 9th
June 18-22 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
$150 -
lunch and t-shirt included 

Our goal is to teach the game of life through basketball. The camp with prepare, teach, and develop every students' knowledge and skill set. Every player will have the opportunity to self-asset court knowledge, ball-handling, shooting, film session, individual and team concepts.

Naval Academy STEM

for rising 8th - 11th graders

Select students gifted in STEM enjoy the opportunity to further their aptitude for STEM using the United States Naval Academy's world class facilities under the tutelage of their world class Professors and the leadership of their midshipmen.

Naval Academy Summer Seminar (NASS)
for rising 12th graders

Top students from every community and congressional district are selected to participate in NASS and experience the Naval Academy's six day immersion program that will allow participants to enjoy what it might be like to be a member of the brigade of midshipmen.

LeaderSail

Train while living aboard 50-foot yachts and cruising the British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, and Dutch Antilles. 8 day ($1850) or 14 day ($3195) trips.

Sail Academy

Train in small groups and learn to race two man racing sloops called "Flying J's." You will sleep in the dorms at Eckerd College; the food is fantastic. Two 7 day ($565) sessions.

USF St. Petersburg Waterfront Camp

Join the USF St. Petersburg Waterfront as we launch an exciting new addition to our summer camp lineup. The Junior Bulls Watercraft Operator camp will consist of four independent week long sessions where campers will learn how to safely launch, drive, and dock Caribe motorized rescue boats as well as rig and sail our fleet of Flying Junior sailboats, the same boats on which our competitive Sailing Team trains! At the end of each session, campers who effectively demonstrate required safe boating skills and knowledge will be eligible to become certified to earn their Florida Boater Education Card AND US Powerboating’s Safe Powerboat Handling certification.

College Bound Institute

July 22-28 - Cost $800

The College Bound Institute (CBI), operated by the King Youth Foundation (a 501c3 non-profit organization), is an intense residential program designed to prepare high school students for their academic careers. At the conclusion of the program, students will thoroughly complete college applications, competently write entrance essays, possess a detailed knowledge and ability to search and apply for scholarships, increase their SAT/ACT scores, and have a completed Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA). The staff is comprised of current and former college administrators who have expertise in the collegiate admissions process, financial aid, and college entrance exams. All workshops take place on a college/university campus.
